Job Description
Director of Product Management Advantage Solutions is seeking a Director of Product Management for our Harmony business unit who has passion and experience with managing B2B/SaaS software products, and who enjoys engaging and leading teams. Harmony is a fast-moving technology start-up within Advantage and the $100 bn retail media market. As a product leader, you will be both an individual contributor to define and deliver the vision and product strategy for the business and a member of the leadership team. You will hire, and oversee, a small team of product managers commensurate with business growth. You will lead your team and partner across business and engineering teams to drive business outcomes, driving revenue growth, decreasing costs, and delivering customer delight. The position is remote eligible (in the US), and reports to Greg Stevens, Executive Vice President of Harmony. You bring:10+ years' experience in product management with technical software/SaaS B2B environments.Experience in advertising technologies is a major plus.7+ years' experience partnering, mentoring, and managing a team of product managers.Deep understanding and experience of product management as a practice.Experience with products at various stages in the life cycle, 0-1 and 1-nDemonstrated success and experience researching industry trends, usage analytics, competitive pressures, and applying to product strategy and roadmap.Experience working with cross functional teams including sales, client success, operations, marketing, user experience design, engineering, and financeProven ability to navigate complex environments and drive product direction and leadership accordinglyStrong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills with internal teams, partners and customersProven experience driving priorities, managing trade-offs, and solving complex problemsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related field You will:Be comfortable in a fast moving, start-up environment.Be risk tolerant and able to navigate uncertainties.Provide product vision, leadership, and direction for the team.Be detail oriented and work hands on with the teams to grow the product and the business.Be comfortable wearing multiple hats to address business needs as they arise.Influence and drive alignment across all levels of the organization.Meet regularly with key customers, prospects, and partners to solicit input as well as promote strategy and key value propositionsCreate innovation and growth opportunities through identifying industry and customer insights that will drive new revenue streams and use casesLead cross functional teams for planning and prioritization of strategic initiatives to achieve business goals.Understand the tech stack holistically to assess which capabilities can be shared, leveraged from partners, or built new.Represent the team to business leadership to align on prioritization and develop use cases for resourcing.Partner with product marketing to develop and manage product-related collateral such as product briefs, customer-facing presentations, customer case studies, to name a few.Coach and mentor the team and help them grow their communication, stakeholder management, product management skillset.Influence and establish product management best practices through design decisions, processes, and tools.
