The Quantum team's mission is to make quantum computing tools available to the world. The Quantum electronics team is carrying out a broad range of Research and Development (R&D) aimed at implementing quantum computers, with a long-term goal of realizing a fault-tolerant quantum computer.
In this role, you will be a member of the quantum electronics team, owning the test of our quantum control and measurement components and systems. You will work with hardware engineers to understand system architectures and using this understanding, you will develop detailed test plans which you will execute separately or with the assistance of others. You will develop test fixtures, including designing necessary electronics systems, to support these measurements. You will work with agreement manufacturers to establish test procedures for test and calibration of our control systems. You will document measurements through documents, presentations, or datasheets.
The full potential of quantum computing will be unlocked with a large-scale computer capable of complex, error-corrected computations. Google Quantum AI's mission is to build this computer and unlock solutions to classically intractable problems. Our roadmap is focused on advancing the capabilities of quantum computing and enabling meaningful applications.
